Site Location


Resolute Bay Resolute Bay is on Cornwallis Island and is located at 74 degrees North latitude.
Eureka Eureka is on the tip of Fosheim Penninsula on Ellesmere Island and is located at 80 degrees North latitude.
Lake Hazen Lake Hazen is on the northern tip of Ellesmere Island and is located at 82 degrees North latitude. This is the largest lake in the world north of 80 degrees North latitude.
Camp Opal Camp Opal is on the polar pack ice and is located at 85 degrees North latitude (85 degrees 59.2 minutes N, 87 degrees 54.8 minutes W).
North Pole The North Pole is on the top of the planet Earth and is located at 90 degrees North latitude.
Fort Conger Fort Conger is on the northern tip of Discovery Harbour north of Lady Franklin Bay and is located at 82 degrees North latitude (60 miles east of Lake Hazen).
Grise Fiord Grise Fiord is on the southern edge of Ellesmere Island north of Jones Sound and is located at 76 degrees North latitude.
Magnetic North Pole The Magnetic North Pole is on the polar pack ice and is located at 77 degrees 08 minutes N, 101 degrees 55 minutes W (on 26 April 1985).
